
Acid Zinc Coating
Acid zinc coating is an electrolytic surface finishing process applied in a medium-acidic (pH 4.5–5.5) zinc chloride and ammonium chloride based bath, providing metal parts with both corrosion protection and a high-brightness, aesthetic finish. Thanks to the high throwing power characteristic of chloride-based zinc baths, a uniform coating thickness is achieved even on parts with complex geometries and deep recesses.
Çinkosan applies acid zinc coating via the barrel process, delivering a highly efficient, bright and consistent finish especially for small and medium-sized fasteners.
